Delivery Policy and conditions of sale for the Furniture Centre
Delivery Service
We offer are free delivery service for items over £100 within a 25 mile radius of both stores but we are more than happy to discuss delivery to areas outside of this radius, although a charge might apply.
Delivery areas are pre-planned to set days for specific areas, these can be confirmed at time of purchase.
We also offer a disposal service of old furniture item(s) when delivering the same new, there is a £40 charge for this service.
A delivery charge will apply to purchases that are less than £100.
Delivery Lead times
We will endeavour to deliver ordered goods within any time stated whether verbally or in writing, however goods to order are subjct to availability and delay in delivery goods is sometimes outside of our control.
Any dates we may specify for the delivery of goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any looses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by the delay in delivery of goods.
Conditions of sale
All goods remain the property of Camp Hopson until paid in full and are suject to Camp Hopson's conditions of sale
We will notify you when your goods are available for delivery or collection, any outstanding balances must be paid at this time.
If you are unable to accept delivery, once full payment has been received, we can store your goods free of charge for 31 days. After this time if you are still unable to take delivery we can arrange to transfer your goods to our Removal Company. They will then make a weekly charge of £11.50 plus VAT until collection is effected.
When delivering furniture please ensure that our delivery staff have clear and safe access through your home, and are made aware of any valuable/breakable items which cannot be removed to a safe place, in order to minimise any risk of accidental damage to your property.
Any damage to your goods not notified to our delivery staff at the time of delivery should be brought to our attention within 7 working days.
If you change your mind about your purchase please contact us immediately. We will try to as sympathetic and helpful as possible and providing items remain unused we can normally agree to re-stock them subject to a retained deposit of 30%.
We cannot consider re-stocking items which have been used.
Disposal items - we reserve the right to refuse the collection of any item we believe constitutes a health and safety risk to our employees, or anyone working on our behalf. We are not able to take any items that are wet. Furthermore any collection will be at the discretion of the carrier.
Fitted flooring - once work is completed an invoice will be produced and full payment to be received within 28 days.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Refund & Exchange Policy for the Department Store and Furniture Centre Linen Department and the purchase of Rugs
Proof of purchase will always be required
We will be happy to refund or exchange any unused product that is returned in its original packaging, together with your receipt, within 28 days of purchase.
Sale items however must be returned within 7 days of purchase
If your receipt is not available an exchange may be issued to the value of the current retail selling price of the item. Refunds will be made using the same method of payment as the original transaction.
For safety and hygiene reasons, we are unable to refund or exchange: hosiery, earrings, swimwear, lingerie, millinery, pillows or duvets.
The policy on our concession departments may vary - please ask in store on the concession for full details.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Price Match Guarantee for the Department Store and Furniture Centre
If anything you have bought from Camp Hoposn is not competitive with identical merchandise on sale locally at the time of purchase, we shall be happy to refund the difference. However we are unable to Price Match against the internet.
What the Price Match Guarantee means to you:
We will Price Match to products that are identical in terms of make, model, colour and are on sale at the same time within 8 miles of the Department Store, 25 miles of the Furniture Centre. We do not however Price Match against the internet.
What to do next:
If you haven't already bought the item simply tell us where and when you saw it cheaper, allow us to verify the details and price and we will then match it.
If you have recently bought the item from us then please bring the receipt into the store tell us where and when you saw the item cheaper, allow us to verify the details and price and if the item is identical we will refund the difference.
